Excerpts from article:

This is a GREAT time to be natural. Georgette Johnson-Whaley, a natural hairstylist who has been sporting her natural hair texture for almost 10 years agrees. "When I first went natural I didn't know what to do with my hair", says Johnson-Whaley.

--Expect the Best
There's nothing more unprofessional (and aggravating) than stylists who overlap their clients' appointments. Since it's pretty much impossible for stylists to braid or twist more than one head at a time, this isn't usually a problem at natural hair salons. "I try to give everyone their own individual time," says Johnson-Whaley.

--Try to Maintain
Don't ruin your stylist's hard work by using the wrong products between visits. Instead follow the pros advice. Johnson-Whaley warns that shampoos and conditioners containing balsam, while good for relaxed hair, cause build-up and weigh down kinky textures.
